In light of recent development and internationalization of study of biology of crustaceans in countries in Asian region, it is the best time to start establishing Asian network of crustacean biology. Caricinological Society of Japan will host the network. As the first step to turn the idea into a startup, the symposium of this subject was held in 2017 at Atmosphere and Ocean Research Institute, The University of Tokyo, during the Annual Meeting of Carcinological Society of Japan 2017. In the symposium, people who are intensively studying crustacean biology in Asian area had very interesting presentations there (see a photo on right for the speakers).
Now, we are happy to announce you that the second symposium of this subject will be held during TCS Mid-year Meeting in Hong Kong in May 2019.
