【International Symposium: Frontiers in Crustacean Biology: Asian Perspectives】
近年のアジア各国における、めざましい甲殻類学の進展にかんがみ、アジアの最も代表的な甲殻類学者を招聘して、最近の研究成果を講演していただきました。また中華人民共和国の青島に本部がある中国甲殻類学会からは、その名誉会長をお呼びして同学会についてのご紹介をしていただきました。さらに国際甲殻類学会の次期会長をお呼びして、シンガポールにおける例をもとに、甲殻類学における国際コミュニテイにおけるアジア地域との関係について講演していただきました。これを期に、アジアの全域に甲殻類学の情報ネットワークを構築していきたいと思っております。
